flea market finds


I am a self-confessed squirrel - buying lovely things at the op shop and putting them away "until later"... a bit of a forgetful squirrel too, often struggling to find my treasures when I'm finally ready to use them...
so I'm especially proud of myself this week - picked up this little spice rack one day, and hung it up and filled it with threads the next...

    Great idea I have one I picked up just coz its wood and have not used it yet Mine hasnt got drawers tho darn it.

    Hi Catherine - what a great way to store threads! I have been wondering how I might store mine for a while now, and you've given me inspiration. Heh heh - just one more thing to look out for when I make my regular trips to the Op Shops. :) Kirrily

    I love what you've done there, it looks fantastic. It's a really pretty spice rack too, some of them are horrible!

    Lovely! I painted mine yellow and it always makes me smile. Yours is a treasure with those small drawers...I'm such a sucker for drawers!

    Oh gosh seems you have given us ALL something to look out for. I'll be out tomorrow looking for a Spice Rack, bet the Op Shop ladies will be saying 'What's with all the Spice racks? we couldn't give them away last week.....' LOL

    Ha, I bought it's twin at the oppy a few weeks back.
    It's turned out to be so handy for all those little things that usually get lost admidst the chaos of my sewing table.
