my creative space

I've started making a "creating" space... in the belief that a dedicated space - even if it is jammed into our little bedroom - might help me escape a little creative rut.

It's still a bit messy (and one day perhaps we should think about painting the walls!), but it is filled with pieces I love - thrifted and inherited pieces, that gorgeous bag, and a bunch of early photos of me and him (a nice reminder as our "first date anniversary" - our 12th! - is fast approaching).

So far, no great creative output to show for it... but one day...

Kootoyoo is the place for creative space inspiration...

  9. I agree, it looks really ordered and inspiring, and maybe if it's a smallish space it will be easy to keep neat...unlike mine...!

  12. That looks so lovely, compact, orderly and simple! I've come back a second time to have a look. The timbers all look wonderful ... and there's that bag waiting for its laptop contents.

Really, you've done a wonderful job ... I have to do some rearranging here, and you're inspiring me.

  15. Your space looks beautiful- I am in the process of trying to do the same thing - managed to find a spare corner in our granny flat, found a table and cleared it then blinked and it had been overtaken by a lego cargo trainset! Blast Legoman and Roboboy, it will be mine again!

  16. we have the same sewing machine. I love your drawers. It is so good to have a spce where the machine is perminately set up- makes like so much easier.

  17. Firstly, I am entirely besotted with your drawers. Secondly, if there isn't a creating space then where do you go to 'do' creative? Good move chook!
