the tipping point?

My husband is normally incredibly tolerant and accepting of my op-shop and fete purchases, even when they are silly or excessive.

This time, however, when I carried in this gloriously flowery fold-up chair, he just pointed out that we'd sent a perfectly good camping chair (boring dark green, with a drink holder) to the op-shop weeks earlier...

I almost didn't tell him that I'd bought two...

  7. duh! of COURSE you took the boring green ones to the Op shop, in order to make space, and the Op shop Godess smiled upon you and filled your empty space with beauty♥
    doesn't he understand that?

  8. I really like these chairs! Much, MUCH better than the "boring dark green" camp chair! You can never go wrong with a vintage style. Great finds! :-)

  11. It's like when Chef says to me: "you already have a bag/ boots" to which I reply :"We have been together for 11 years, which bit of this purchase is sursprising to you"

  15. Haha. This reminds me of my slightly different problem. We both keep chucking the old camping chairs by mutual agreement(because they are ordinary not to mention hideous)but then need to buy more when we decide to go camping again!!! grr. I much prefer your gorgeous finds. Congratulations are in order, x
