reverse finds

I have an "unallocated present" box in my place - a place for presents I bought for someone, then changed my mind, or found the "perfect" present later. The plan is to look at and use these presents before buying anything new... which works - sometimes...

Unfortunately it's been a while since everything actually fitted in the box... so I'm taking the tambourine and puppet from the top of the pile to the "Wishing Tree" - I know Target and Kmart both have them, and I'm sure a lot of other organisations have their own. I hope I am forgiven for giving a "noisy" present.. in my defense, I actually bought this for my own child (and then she got one from someone else).

Hopefully I can allocate a few more of these presents for christmas this year, too!

Are you giving away / clearing out too? You can add your link to the list below, if you like!

I just finished gift wrapping my pile. I too keep a gift treasure box filled with just too good to pass items. I didn't realized I got lots and allocated 90% of them already. Happy weekend!

It's great having a stash on hand, however mine has been depleted, perhaps in the after Christmas sales I can start again.

As for clearing out, I have unloaded some clothes that no longer fit of to the local oppy, however I always seem to find something in the store to bring home. Oh dear!

What a great idea! I think I have about a million beautiful blank books. I am not sure however whether I can give them away at all ;-)

I saw an ad last night for the wishing tree at one of those big shops and said I am going to get busy to choose from my very simila cupboard of spare pressies, something to wrap and make a card and put under the wishing tree.

I think this time of year is so perfect for clearing out those present drawers. i don't think that anyone who recieves your gift will care if it makes noise or not. X
