blogtober day 4 - the lazy post

Ok, so I'm only 4 days in, and feeling lazy. I have an excuse - even a doctor's certificate (surely that works in blog land too?) - I'm sick, again.

The word on the street (well, mainly in the doctor's surgery) is that it's been a really bad year for colds / flus / assorted illnesses, and that's certainly how it feels.

I know that it's not entirely in my control, but I'd like to get better and stay better this time, so I'd like some ideas - what are the things that work for you when you get sick, or that you find help you to stay healthy?

Oh bugger! Hope you get better soon. The only thing that works for me is making sure that I get enough sleep, and staying away from anyone else who is sick.

oh No ! Your poor thing.
Um I'm not sure, I'm no way Ms Health nut, but I do think Cam's right, getting enough sleep is a big thing that stops me from getting sick, and sometimes that's out of my hands.

my mum swears by red capsicums. slice one up and eat the whole thing. stacks of vitamin c apparently. i can only manage about half though before i feel a capsicum overload coming on! sending healthy vibes your way :)

yeah it has been we got really sick...and it took quite some time to feel normal again. keep drinking plenty of water...and rest don't go to hard to quickly...I had that problem and the sickness lingered.

oh noo Catherine, hope you are better soon.
I was just at the dr's because I have been feeling blah for a while but really no cold syptoms. it is just a bad year & she told me that I needed to get some good sleep.
