blogtober day 5 - the joke post

Thank you for putting up with yesterday's sad and sorry post (when Cam of Curlypops was my first commenter, it put things immediately in perspective - my ailments have been of the "spend a few days resting, then take it easy" kind, rather than the "requires admission to hospital" kind...).

Anyway, today I'm starting to feel a bit better, and thought I should say thank you with a fun post - some jokes courtesy of a very funny 3 year old I know - because as they say, laughter is the best medicine (unless it makes you laugh so hard you cough uncontrollably and end up with breathing problems... just saying).

Q. What's brown and sticky?

A. A stick!

Q. What's black and white and red all over?

A. A newspaper (OK, so not entirely accurate these days...)

Q. What kind of bees make milk?

A. Boobies!

Q. Who has golden curly hair?

A. Me !!! (when I pointed out this was more of a statement than a joke, she replied " I made a statement, ha ha ha!")

Hope you have a great day today!

PS : excuse the green paint spots - she was painting that day!

The stick joke is my favourite!

It is the only joke I remember ... it's not funny when I tell it to other 39 year olds, though!

But it made me laugh reading it again.

Boobies, Huh! very funny :) I'll be sure to tell that one to Ada. Hope you're feeling better. We have been struck down with this hell old for the last three weeks and can't seem to shake the cough side of things. Maybe a good laugh will fix the issue.

Hello Catherine and thanks for visiting. Because I obviously couldn't come up with the right words myself, I took the liberty of quoting you in my last post :) Maybe there will be a rush of Norwegian visitors during the day!
(Haven't had the time to look around your blog yet, but I will :)

Kids really do say the funniest things! Love the facial expressions. Gorgeous photos - such a cute and cheeky face.
